An article by Chairman of the Supreme Commercial Court Anton Ivanov
"The legal positions formulated by the Presidium and Plenary Session of the Supreme Commercial Court, - they are not only a guidance how to act, but also drafts for future court decisions"
In his article entitled "Judges' Destinies" (RBК-daily. 18.05.2013) the Chairman of the Supreme Commercial Court Anton Ivanov states:
"It is not in vain that we supported the concept of the unity of judicial practice. Perhaps, some theoreticians fear the term “precedent”, but we proved in practice that it is a convenient technological instrument which helps in making judges’ work more efficient. The legal positions formulated by the Presidium and Plenary Session of the Supreme Commercial Court, - they are not only a guidance how to act, but also drafts for future court decisions. This also should not be forgotten in the course of everyday work". (Text of the article)
