Two Years Without the Supreme Commercial Court

The law information resource Legal.Report publishes an article by Dr Alexander Vereshchagin entitled “How to Live Without VAS?” which addresses the reasons and consequences of the abolition of the Supreme Commercial Court of the Russian Federation (Russian acronym: VAS RF). It also touches upon the measures necessary for achieving the proclaimed purpose of the reform, i.e. to ensure the uniformity of court practice. An important role in this set of measures should be given to a well-adjusted mechanism of creating and using judicial precedents.
